It has been a long summer and although I have been back at work for two weeks, until the students come in the term hasn't really started. My girls don't start school until Wednesday but I will still be getting their uniforms ready this afternoon. I am hoping everything still fits because they have grown a lot over the Summer.
If I have my calculations correct it is only seven weeks until the next holiday.
This morning is still calm in the house, mainly because everyone is still in bed. We start with church and then we actually have nothing planned. That may change. For a long time we always went through to the cafe at Marks and Spencer for a coffee on the day before the school holidays finished. It is surprising how many people have end of term rituals.
Next weekend I have the pleasure of a birthday party to look forward to. We are going to be gathering at Adventure Valley in Durham for a fun filled day!! I hope the weather stays fine or it will be a wash out. I will let you know next week how it went.
My mother in law is have some building work done. She decided to have her garage converted into a living room. It is nearly finished. We took her out to choose a light yesterday and she has decided on wood flooring. I will let you see the finished pictures next week.
