The festivities started early in the week with the college award ceremony held at The Stadium of Light. It was a brilliant night. Not only did we get to celebrate the success of the students but we also enjoyed a fantastic meal. My favourite bit was the pudding. The photo doesn't do it justice.
The top photo was the crowning glory on the birthday cake of my eldest. As you can see it was a Club Penguin theme. The whole event went well. We even took some of her friends to a soft play: not to many though. We finished off with the family coming over this afternoon for tea and cake. the trick is to have a whisky ready for my mam when she comes in and keep it topped up.
Next year we are going to something more grown up for her. We haven't worked the detail out yet but if anyone has any suggestions then let me know.
