Can we take the tree down yet?

It must be time to pack the decorations away!!  It's all over for another year. I enjoy having the family over. It always makes for a good afternoon. I have to say that Santa was very good to me this year. I was lucky that he brought me some excellent things for my bike. If the rain would only stop I might get out on it. I am still planning on doing the C2C during the Easter holidays, so I must get some training in. I also found a nice bottle of 24 year old malt tucked away in the bottom of a gift bag. As I type, my youngest is painting with her art kit, the eldest is watching a film in bed and the Boss is reading in bed. Peaceful household; long may it last.
Usually we have lots of left over food but this year we planned it it well; I should say the Boss planned it well. Despite me ticking the wrong box for carrots and ending up with 8kilos!! We had our last festive meal yesterday. Friends came over with their children and we had a good gossip and a lovely meal.
Thursday morning we went through to the Metro Centre. It helped that we were there for 09:15. The girls wanted to go to the Build A Bear Workshop. We managed well and left just before 11:00.
Another week of the holiday left. Nothing special planned really.
