Spare a thought for the victims.

I listened to a very interesting talk in church this  morning about how some people can accept and come to terms with some tragedy and yet find other forms repulsive. The bombings in Boston are the repulsive side of the argument. I will never understand how an individual can carry out such mindless and senseless carnage. I have experienced the aftermath of destruction by individuals and I will never come to terms with the thoughts that are going through their brains. I just hope the people of Boston can start to get their lives back and get some sense of normality in their communities. The earthquake in Japan, according to the speaker, is the type of destruction we have almost come to expect from an area where earthquakes are common. People are able to move on quicker. Personally I find anything that takes a human life horrible and tragic. Even after the moment has passed the families and friends have to pick their lives up and keep moving on and everyday they are reminded of the people they have lost. I am sure everyone is taking some time out of their busy schedule to think of those that need our support.
We couldn't have asked for a nicer day yesterday. I managed to sort the garden out. All I need to do now is put some plants in. I escaped from the swimming lessons and had the whole day to myself. I had to have an early start because my mother in law had some jobs for me.
Tomorrow I am going to have a break from normal lessons and take Monopoly in for the students. It is during a maths lesson and they will be handling money. That's my excuse!! No music on this one folks. At 22:50 I am now going to bed.
