I consider myself very lucky to be working where I do. I am surrounded by a lot of very nice people and I get to do a job that I really enjoy. Not many people can say that they look forward to getting out of bed on a morning. Some people might think I am sad. Who cares!
I totally understand where you are coming from. In my opinion there are two types of teacher; the ones who love the job, love the students and love the subject. They put their heart and soul into the preparation of the lecture/lesson and deliver it with care and enthusiasm. They ALWAYS answer emails and make time for their students whenever necessary. They are rewarded with happy students, colleagues who respect them and an inner satisfaction.
