Suburban Man

I have turned into Mr Suburbia!! Today (Sunday) I have cleaned the garage out and washed the car. I am officially one of those sad people who doesn't really have a life and cannot think of anything better to do. I have to say thought that the garage is looking very clean and the car was dirty. After being in the house about 15 years I was disgusted at the amount of rubbish that had been collected in the garage. We also had a family of field mice nesting in the garage and they managed to get into every opened container. So my excuse for cleaning it out was for health reasons. No mice were injured during the clean up.
This afternoon we are going to Messy Church. It seems a long time since it was last on. The girls are very excited and with any luck I will get to make something with glitter and glue!!
Tomorrow I have students in for proper lessons. It is gong to be quite a shock to the system. I think I will have to plan plenty of coffee breaks in just to break my body in gradually. I have heard teaching can be tiring so I will take it easy!!
My youngest asked me earlier if she could play a sport in the Olympics. I suggested volleyball. She said that would be okay beacuase she was good at bouncing the ball but she would have to pass it someone else to score the goals because she couldnt do that bit!!
