Tiredness has a habit of creeping up on you when you least expect it. At the end of each day this week I have felt as though it was Friday!! People told me that once you have children you loose your right to any sleep. It seems as though they were right. I wouldn't change my life and I love my family but I can not wait until they leave home to get a lie in. I don't think the dark mornings are helping. It is very depressing getting ready for work in the dark!
I have made positive steps to try and get a life. I have signed up to the 'Bike to Work Scheme', run by the Government. Everything is in place, including the bike, I just need the voucher to come through and I will be cycling the roads. The idea is that I get some much needed exercise. It has been a year and a half since my operation and I think the time is right to start and exercise. Unfortunately running, which was my main sport, is out of the question.
A student stopped me today and asked me if I was called Mr Davison. When I told her I was she said that I used to teach her when she was in Year 6 in Primary School. I felt very old as that was about ten years ago. She told me I had not changed at all but I think she was just being kind.
Happy days folks.
